Post your dealership inventory to Facebook Marketplace without retyping every car

The job as your reps do it today

Every car your store puts on Facebook Marketplace goes through the same vehicle form. Vehicle type, year, make, model, mileage, body style, fuel type, transmission, price, a description, and the photos. Your rep fills it in by hand, usually copying the details across from your website.

That is where the small mistakes come from. A mileage typed from memory. A transmission picked from the dropdown without checking. Photos uploaded out of order. A listing that goes live with a placeholder price because someone was in a hurry.

Reps do it because the leads are worth it. But nobody on your floor enjoys the typing, and you have no clean view of who has posted what.

What DealerList does

DealerList AI starts with the inventory you already have. It captures vehicles from your own dealership website, or from a CSV export out of your DMS, and shows them in the DealerList dashboard.

From there the flow is short:

1. The rep picks a vehicle in the dashboard.
2. The AI writes the listing copy for that car.
3. The DealerList Chrome extension fills the Facebook Marketplace vehicle form: vehicle type, year, make, model, mileage, body style, fuel type, transmission, price, description, and up to 20 photos, in order. It ticks "clean title".
4. The rep reads the form and clicks Publish.

While the fill runs, a progress card on the page shows each phase as it happens. When it finishes, an assist card lists anything still left for the rep, with one-click copy for each value. The full walkthrough is in the guide.

Publish is the rep's click. Nothing is guessed.

Two rules shape how the tool behaves.

It never publishes on its own. The extension fills the form and stops. The rep reviews every field and clicks Publish. If they close the tab, nothing goes out.

It never publishes a spec it guessed. Year, make, model, body style, fuel type and transmission come from the VIN decode. If your website did not state a spec and the decode does not return it, the field is left blank and the on-page card tells the rep to pick it. A mileage of 0 or a price of 0 is never typed into the form. The card asks the rep for the real number instead.

Mileage for Canadian cars is entered in kilometres.

Colour and condition are left for the rep. They take two clicks on the form, and the assist card reminds them.

A Sales Tracker for the manager

Once reps are posting, you need to know what is out there. The Sales Tracker in DealerList shows who posted what, what has sold, and what needs attention. Reps mark a car sold when it goes, so the list stays current without you asking around the floor.

That is the manager view: every rep, every car they have posted through DealerList.

What it does not do

• It fills the Marketplace vehicle form only. No other Marketplace form is supported today.
• It does not remove a listing when a car sells. The rep marks the car sold in DealerList. Taking the listing down on Marketplace is still their job.
• It does not set colour or condition. Those are left for the rep and take two clicks.

If you also run a parts counter, a sister product called CounterList AI is in build. It takes an OEM part number, finds the catalogue photos, writes the listing and fills the Marketplace item form. It has not launched yet.
