We answer support email within one business day. When something has gone wrong, the fastest fix comes from including: the extension version shown at the bottom of the popup, the dealership website you were capturing from, and the vehicle URL if the problem was with one specific vehicle.
Getting started
- Sign in to your DealerList AI workspace in the browser. Your dealership's manager creates accounts — the extension does not have its own sign-up.
- Install the extension and click its icon. It picks up the session from the web app automatically and shows your name and vehicle count.
- Open a vehicle page (or an inventory listing page) on your dealership's website and use Capture to import vehicles into your workspace.
- In the web app, generate listing copy, then use Marketplace Poster to open Facebook Marketplace with the vehicle's details filled in. You review everything and click Publish yourself.
Common issues
The extension says it isn't connected
The extension reads your session from an open DealerList AI tab. Open the web app, sign in, then click the extension icon again. If the popup still shows signed out, sign out and back in once — that reissues the session token the extension reads.
The popup shows an old version number
Chrome sometimes keeps a cached copy of an extension after an update. Go to chrome://extensions, turn Developer mode on, and click Update. The version at the bottom of the popup should match the latest release.
A capture missed photos or details
Dealership websites are built on many different platforms and a few publish their photo galleries in unusual ways. Capture what it can find, then fill the gaps in the web app — or send us the vehicle URL and we will add support for that platform. Most reported sites are handled within a few days.
Facebook Marketplace fields look empty at first
Marketplace re-renders its form as it loads, so a field can fill, blank out, and fill again while the page settles. Let it finish, then review every field before publishing.
Nothing gets posted to Facebook
That is by design. The extension fills the Marketplace form and stops. Reviewing the listing and clicking Publish is always a human action.
Accounts and data
Password resets: your dealership's General Manager or Super Admin can issue a new temporary password from User Management in the web app. Change it to something only you know as soon as you sign in.
Removing access: deleting a user in User Management ends their access immediately, including in the extension.
Deleting your data: email us from your work address and we will delete your dealership's workspace and its vehicle data. See the privacy policy for what we store and why.
Reporting a security issue
If you believe you have found a vulnerability, email support@owl360it.com with the details and how to reproduce it. Please give us a chance to fix it before disclosing it publicly. We read these first.
